How do I go about registering a person deceased on IMDB? Also, the spelling of his first name is incorrect.. can it be amended?

First, if you are aware of an incorrect name spelling on the site, you will need to submit a Name Correction through our online Update form.  You can find additional information about how to submit name updates here.

Second, concerning registering a deceased person on IMDb, can you clarify if you are referring to adding death date information for an individual listed on the site?  Or are you asking about how to register a name page for an individual who has deceased?

Thanks for the reply Michelle. Will get onto the name amendment. With regards to the deceased question it's adding a death date.

You can add a date of death by editing the page of the person in question. However, IMDb requires so proof, such as a link to an online obituary or some other source that notes the date of death.
