A few more of my contributions were declined, and I’m not sure what I did wrong, but I figured I’d try and appeal here.

Regarding the cast of “The Runaway.”
First, I pointed out that a name was misspelled on the IMDb page. Specifically, “Rajiv Swarup” was misspelled as “Rajib Swarup.” The contribution was declined, citing “Unable to verify.” I don’t know if and how I could have added a screencap to the comment to prove I was telling the truth, so I’m putting the screencap of the end credits here:

Second, I pointed that that albeit a character’s name was said to be Sam Marcos, he was only listed as “Sam” in the credits. According to IMDb’s rules, we list character names as they appear in on-screen credits wherever possible. However, my contribution was also declined, citing: “Unable to verify.” Here is a screencap with proof:

According to IMDb’s rules, if someone does not appear in the title and is not listed in the credits, he should not be listed in IMDb’s cast. The actor Valentino del Toro was not listed in the credits of “Genesis: Part 2” and only appeared in one scene that ended up being deleted (it was released as a bonus feature on the DVDs, but it was not included in the episode). What more than that, the deleted scene is not even from “Genesis: Part 2,” it’s from “Genesis: Part 1.” I submitted his deletion from Part 1’s Cast and Crew page a couple of weeks ago and it was approved. However, my submission for Part 2 was declined, citing: “Unable to verify.” I’m not sure how I can prove that he did not appear in the episode. If it helps, this is a screencap of him from the only scene he appeared in, the one that was deleted from “Genesis: Part 1” and included as a bonus on the DVDs:

On the page of the actress Simone Kessell, I submitted a character name change for every episode of Terra Nova she appeared in. Her name is currently listed as “Lt. Alicia Washington,” I submitted the change to “Lt. Washington” (I removed the first name, Alicia). As I mentioned in the contribution’s comment, the name Alicia was never mentioned on the show and comes from behind-the-scenes sources only. To quote IMDb’s rules: “Character descriptions must be limited to the context of the film. [...] Including extra information that comes from other sources than the film is especially wrong.” The character’s name was never listed in the credits, only the name of the actress was, as you can see below:

“Alicia” was never mentioned on the show by anyone, the character was only referred to as “Lieutenant Washington,” “Washington,” “Wash” or simply “Lieutenant.” The name Alicia comes only from behind-the-scenes sources such as promotional videos. Here is a screencap from one promotional video in which the actress was briefly interviewed:

To my understanding, the fact that her first name was not mentioned on the show means it should not be on IMDb. However, my contribution was declined, citing: “Unable to verify.”
I apologize if I did something wrong or if I misunderstood IMDb’s rules. I hope it is all right to state my case here.
