hi, i am an american but living in a foreign country. i am not interested in the local cinema, i don't even know the local language.

IMDB by default goes to the local country site main page, i cannot configure the site to use the USA site (unless i use a proxy). i mean by default it shows me the local cinema in the main page and the local cinema news and articles which i am not interested in.

Can you allow me to choose which country site to view by default or have a worldwide option. I want to view the imdb main page just like those in the US would view.

I don't mean the name of the movie title and language preference i know how to configure that.

Hi Vincent,

The International movie and celebrity content is complementary to the comprehensive Hollywood content coverage that we've been providing for years. We are continuing to showcase relevant US movie content and news on IMDb. To see Hollywood news only, you may click on the 'Hollywood' tab within the Latest News section on the homepage.

can't u allow IMBD to have options to view the site as those in the us would do, instead of automatically detection the country the user is in. i don't think i am the only one with this problem.

i mean yahoo and google has options like us.yahoo.com and google has option to use google.com which shows the us page and not the local country page. even youtube has current location setting for worldwide or choosing countries.

i cannot even change IMDB to view the site like in the US. there should be one in the settings preferences for that and IMDB should not auto choose country location without any option to change that.
