That's weird - new posts should appear instantly. There is a lot of turnover on that forum, so perhaps it has got buried - look at your profile and you can see the posts you've made towards the bottom of the page.

If it isn't on there, then it never got posted, for one reason or another (a glitch in the Matrix, you hit the preview button not the post one then navigated away, etc.) so feel free to post again.

And, coincidentally, I got a "cannot post this message at this time, please try again" error when I tried to post my reply. Something out there doesn't like you.

I occasionally hit the preview a message and then forget to hit the post button after previewing. I've lost a few messages due to this error on my part.

Well indeed - I have done it myself, which is why it was my main suggestion. Thanks to the Lazarus browser plugin, it need never be a complete disaster.

Hi Jack

Unfortunately I cannot check this for you as I do not know your IMDb login, but as Emperor says, boards posts should appear instantly so if it hasn't appeared, it's probably got lost somehow.

One thing to bear in mind is that you need to authenticate your account before you can post on our boards, so it's worth checking you have done that (by providing a cellphone or credit card number).

Cheers
Alex

And it'd be worth checking you've also validated your email address from the link IMDB sent you when you first signed up.
