I have tried everything to update my mini bio for my actors name IMDB page and nothing will get approved. It is a mini bio from years ago with very irrelevant information listed that has nothing to do with me anymore.
Now I do have two actors name accounts for some reason (Laken B. Giles and Laken Giles). Laken B. Giles is the one with the irrelevant information. I would be fine with just deleting the whole Laken B. Giles page if that is an option??
Help PLEASE I'm going on 5 months of trying to fix this lol

Hi Laken,
It will be easier for you to merge the 2 pages, by going to the alternate name page and targeting the one you want to retain.
For the operating mode, please check the help pages about merging names.

Hi, Laken Giles.
First of all, the IMDb name pages about you are not what can be considered "accounts". They are entries in a publicly-visible collaboratively-edited catalog/database. Moving on. Is there a specific error message given in the submission form when you try to update or delete? If so, what is the message? Otherwise, have you successfully submitted an edit? If so, what is the 18-digit reference number of it?
You do understand that only one (possibly neither) of the pages is eligible for deletion if you've been credited in McKenzie's Gifts or 27, right? The situation is that of duplication, so one course of action is to merge the name pages together. It is also the best course of action since one page is more popular yet newer, and the other page is has a biography item and is older yet more obscure. You can merge them by simply setting the name of one to the name of the other, during the process of a "Name Correction or Merge" edit, getting past any warning messages, and submitting the updates.
As for the biography with the "irrelevant" information; if the information on is accurate, then the IMDb company would prefer to that it be updated than deleted altogether. It doesn't matter if there are references to things in it that have nothing to do with you anymore. All of that information is history and public record.

I submitted another edit just now, the number is #180724-174002-669000. I requested a name merge as well.
Thank you, I hope this fixes it.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Update issue.
I would also like to have my actors account removed. Can you tell me how to do this. I have two for some reason right now and one of them has a mini bio from a very long time ago that it will not let me update or delete. Help!!!

Hi L G -
I just reviewed your mini-Bio submission and noted that it is currently pending review. You can see on our current Data Processing page that mini-Bio's are processed through July 18th, so your mini-Bio update will be reviewed shortly in the coming days.
Lastly, our records show that there are currently three listings on the site for "Laken B. Giles"/"Laken Giles"; you mentioned that you submitted a Name Merge request, can you confirm if all three listings belong to you?
