Delete incorrect trivia

I'm trying to delete two pieces of incorrect trivia from my IMDb page. First trivia states that I obtained a degree from X college. My explanation: "I did not attend this school nor do I have this degree." Next trivia states that I was born and raised in Y city. My explanation: "I was not born and raised in Y city." It seems pretty straightforward, but IMDb has not removed the incorrect trivia. Any suggestions from this group?

You will likely have more success if you change rather than delete the items. Change the degree information to the same info you have in your bio about taking your first acting class at community college. As to the born and raised information, just change it to something like, "Born and raised in California" or "New York" or whatever the state is where you were born and raised. Eliminate the other name in that change, if that is something you wish to do.

What Luvs said...or, same as was suggested previously. I don't see any other way around, other than replacing it with a better one. Deletions, as was explained previously, are very difficult to get approved.

I just re-submitted the updates as corrections instead of deletions, using the suggested wording. Thanks so much for the suggestions! My fingers are crossed that this update will be approved.

Disappointing news! The updates were not accepted. Any other suggestions please? This is quite frustrating...

Oh, yikes...can you post, also, the submission ID number from which staff here might be able to take a look and see if they can tell why it's getting rejected?

You can find that from your account setting, the View your contributions page. Just copy/paste the 18 digit, submission ID number.

Good luck...hope staff can help you get it right!

So I realized that I didn't submit my previous update request correctly because I don't see it in my submission history. I just did an update and here's the submission number: 140418-004708-723000. Hope this one is correct and it gets approved!
