Hi Amy,
If you have renamed the title page, there should not be an older page to delete...
Can you please share the corresponding URL(s) or page code(s) or the former and actual titles ?

Amy,
It is probably easier to rename the film in IMDb instead of deleting. Have you already created a page for the new title? If not, consider editing the title of the previous page. If you have created a new page with the new title, use this link to delete the previous one:

Adrian: Even if there are two pages for the same film under different titles, it would still be preferable to merge the titles rather than delete the incorrect title. One would merge the titles by changing the incorrectly titled entry's title to be exactly the same as the correctly titled entry.

I have already created a new page with the film's new name so how can I delete the original one?

You have to merge the two pages. It doesn’t really work in IMDb to start a ”new title” and then just delete the old one. It’s always best to update/edit/correct the existing page, not to start a new one.
