Deleting a name

I am at my wits end with IMDB. A page was made for a film I was creating with a group of friends and I am listed as an actor! This film WAS NEVER RELEASED and should NEVER HAVE BEEN PUT ON IMDB. Legally we own the rights to this film and it has never legally been put into the public domain.

I want the title removed and my ‘actors’ page.

The reason I am at my wits end with IMDB is because I have reported this over 10 times and I have been completely ignored. I am seriously starting to consider legal action now.

Hi Jay -

In order for our staff to assist, can you clarify what title you are referring to (please include the title name and link to the title page), can you also clarify how you made the previous requests to remove the listings?  Once we have the additional details our staff can take a further look.

The title is the actor page ‘John James’... The credits listed as ‘Jay cosme’ and the bio mentions ‘Jack Stanton’... it’s rubbish. The entire actors page needs removing and also ‘The Boyfriend’ needs removing

Jay: I assume you are talking about John James (LI) at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5191227/ who has most of his credits listed with an (as Jay Cosme) attribute.

Please provide full details about what you have submitted before as evidence/explanations to have your credits and/or a film removed.
Also, please make sure to include links in your explanations where necessary, because there are about 51 people in the database named John James and 6 films titled The Boyfriend (yours would be https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2428928/).

Yes that’s the one i am talking about!

And what evidence?? There is no evidence. As I have said this film was never put into the public domain, it was uploaded by somebody (I have a feeling who but I can’t legally name) and then IMDB some how approved it to be included on the site which raises a major question mark for me as I struggle to understand how they saw the boyfriend to be a legitimate credit.

Also the John James page (as Jay Cosme) the credits on there are false, check the end credits of any of those productions and the name does not exist!

It is FALSE, all of it. So for the final time please remove!
