Demo Reel on Landing Page Issue.

Help.  I am a ImdbPro user and just uploaded my Demo Reel via ImdbPro.  However, on my main landing page on Imdb.com... it shows an old trailer to a film I was cast in years ago, and it appears right next to my main headshot on the landing page.  I am not even in this trailer, and I have no idea who linked it to my page.  I would like my own Demo Reel to appear where this old trailer is on the landing page.  Any help is so appreciated.

Hi, Laurie Cummings.

Usually, IMDb is not accepting video corrections here on Get Satisfaction.
You can address them directly via the contact form, selecting step by step:
IMDb Fan / Contributor questions;
Images & video;
Other image / video issues;
E-mail.
and the data editors will be happy to take a look.

However, please note that according to the official guidelines (How does IMDb decide which featured video displays at the top of a name page):
  • Trailers are of greater priority to show rather than demo reels;
  • Any video change requests for purely stylistic reasons are rather to be not actioned.
I hope this helps to understand how the system works.
Have a nice day.

Hi Laurie,

Thanks for your post.

You can find the logic which determines your 'featured video' here:

If you would like to have your tag removed from the trailer, we can do this for you - please let us know.

Cheers,

Joel
