There has been concern that the group of "Poll Admins" that is, the Champions and Members who are responsible for choosing which polls go live has become cabalistic and cliqueish.
Indeed, this is not an abnormal phenomenon, it occurs in most real world and online environments where an individual or group of individuals gain "too much power".
I suggest that regular contributors to the board nominate and openly vote on the addition of at least 3 to 4 new members for the IMDb Poll Admin group.
I shall leave the definition of "regular contributor" to the staff, but it should include only those accounts who have a total number of posts exceeding a certain number, as well a minimum number of posts over, say, the 90 days prior to voting.
