I've noticed on IMDb that some descriptions are not written very well - either too long and wordy or too short and vague.  What can be done to fix them?  Can I add my own plot?  Thank you!

Remember that Plot Outlines (the ones you usually see below the title, and next the main photo) should be fairly short. Don’t try to make the longer that 239 characters or they’ll be added (probably) to Plot Summary section.

”Plot outlines should be no longer than 239 characters. Longer plots can be submitted as a plot summary.”

Also it’s good to remember that ”if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. There are loads of titles in IMDb that actually miss the plot outline altogether.

Hi.
Yes, you can totally submit corrections or add data on IMDb for plot summaries and other categories.

See https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/adding-data/G6BXD2JFDCCETUF4?ref...# for more details about how/what you can contribute.

Thank you for your interest in keeping IMDb data correct!
And happy holidays.
