Desktop site forwarding to m. Imdb.com

Every time I accessing desktop site on my phone it forwards me to m.imdb.com site. This is really annoying I don’t want to be forwarded! How to stop this? It started few days ago, before that all worked fine.

I think that is probably default behavior, but which browser do you use?

Chrome. It all was ok until few days ago the forwarding started.

I've been using Chrome on my phone for a long time with IMDb.
I feel like it's normal that it chooses the m.imdb version, and then when I choose

at the bottom of the page, it goes to the desktop version (on the url, it appends "?" or "&" "mode=desktop". Doing so by hand achieves the right effect.)

I have a couple of IMDb pages that I've "Added to Home Screen" so that I always get Desktop Mode when I start in IMDb. I just confirmed that clicking links retains desktop mode.

I'm using Chrome 77 on Android 9 (as altered by Moto).

I have a recommendation: the Opera Mini browser, which has a User Agent: Desktop setting and never forwards to mobile.
