Despicable Me 3 cast marked verified despite ignoring changes

I marked the cast of Despicable Me 3 complete after making my changes. The cast is now "verified complete" despite not making my changes. My changes had to do with the "additional voices" which are listed in a column. Per the cast guide, these credits should be read across the rows unless they are obviously in some order as alphabetical or appearance order. These credits are obviously in alphabetical order though someone enter them in order by rows. Why was my change denied, though it is per the cast guide?

My contribution to correctly put these credits in alphabetical order was: 180213-161313-340000

That "crew verified and complete" is sometimes so far from complete it's ridiculous.

Perhaps the biggest offender yet is Kill Bill Vol. 1 (2003). One day I will take my trusty DVD of that movie and take screenshots of the cast credits to prove that almost every single Crazy 88 member has a cast credit. Plus one of them is an uncredited Quentin Tarantino himself.

There is a backlog on cast credits, so you can't be sure your updates were rejected. If you want to make sure your complete tag doesn't appear before the cast updates are done, I suggest waiting to submit it.

Peter, even if my change is caught up in the backlog of cast credits (which I highly doubt is the case as most of my credit changes go through in minutes and the rest overnight), this is a bug. Here's the text you get when you check that you have completed the cast:

I have verified that the cast listing is complete (once my changes are made).
Processing the verified complete outside of processing the cast changes is illogical and should not be done. If my changes haven't been processed then the verified complete should also not be processed. If my changes are rejected, then my verified complete should also be rejected. These two changes cannot be processed independent of each other. Doing so is illogical. In an extreme case, you could end up with a completed cast with out any cast members listed because the cast member listing is delayed in processing!

I think there used to be more of a delay before the tag appeared, but I'm not sure they have any system in place to make sure the tag is not added until your other updates have been made.

I'm sure the process could be improved. Until then, the person who is in the best position to determine when the credits are complete is you.

I don't submit many verifications, but I did submit one a few days ago. First I updated the whole cast. When most of the updates appeared, I noticed I had forgotten to add an order number and correct a character name. Then it took a few days more for one credit for a main cast member to be processed. I am happy that I waited to submit the cast verification rather than submit it in my first update.

Thanks Adrian, it looks like this was an error on our part based on some documentation pre-release. I've now resubmitted your change which will go live shortly.

Regards,
Will
