Different pages for the same person

There are two different pages for composer Akihito Tokunaga:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3115506/
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2764082/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr7

The first page spell his first name as "Akito"...

Tokunaga should also be added as a composer here:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0139774/fullcredits?ref_=tt_ql_1

Thanks,
Dan

By far the most frequently asked question, it's on the list of FAQ's when you click "help" as You have two separate pages for the same person, how can this be fixed? Using those instructions, correct the least accurate (the second one) page to how his name is listed on the first page, but I think you should click the "preserve credit" to indicate he was credited as "Akito" (unless you know for sure he was credited differently on screen in the original version) as that's probably what caused it to be listed a second time. This will help keep it as one page.

To add a composer credit, go to the page you linked and scroll down to click the "edit page" button and choose to "add one credit" in the "composer" section.

I managed to add him as a composer in the third link.

I also just checked the credits for the first link, and even though they are in Japanese they say "徳永暁人" which is correct for "Akihito Tokunaga".

"Akito" is an IMDB mistake I would reckon.

Thank you for your help.

It would be a mistake by whomever submitted the data. Perhaps IMDb could only verify by learning to speak Japanese first and it was easier to take the word of the guy/gal who sent in the info. Since his page says it is his birth name, it wouldn't be that big of a stretch to believe he'd been credited that way.

You're welcome!
