I am having difficulty getting the following IMDB update receipt accepted: #190305-183822-599000 (from March 5).

"Dancing with the Stars" (2005/I) {Round 8 (#5.16)}

Soundtracks - Add

Text: "Hey Pachuco" (uncredited)
Originally by [link=nm2217523]
[Dance: Hélio & Julianne - Quickstep]
Order: 8

What's going on?

Uncredited soundtrack items are not supposed to have order numbers.

Michael - So sorry to trouble you, but it certainly appears that you know what you're doing. I have absolutely no idea whatsoever as to how to add my name as a credited camera operator on a listed network television show. I am only asking you to see if you can give me a leg up and a start on who to contact or how to do it, as the "editing" or "add-on" instructions make absolutely no sense to me. Anything you can tell me to get started would be so much appreciated. My apologies for inconveniencing you - I've been trying to do this for almost three years now. I certainly emphasize with you. Sincerely, EG

Hi Michael,

Jeorj is correct, if the soundtrack item is uncredited it shouldn't have an order number as it doesn't appear in the end credits. Also the "Originally by" heading doesn't really explain whether the song was "written by" or "performed by" etc.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Will

"Uncredited" tracks with an order number next to it and "originally by" someone used to be accepted in the past. Why the policy change now?

Because policy evolves, for various reasons, and because here, it does not make sense: if it is not credited, there is no reason to have a display order number...

Sometimes things are accidentally approved or so, and the improper condition may not be noticed right away.

Hi Michael.

There isn't a policy change here, just to clarify if a soundtrack item is (uncredited) then there should be an order number 0 associated with it as explained in the guide

I hope this helps.

Will
