Hello,
Stage productions on screen normally have two directors:
Stage director
Screen director.
Most of the time, it's the first one who is listed as director, for instance:
Shakespeare's Globe: Henry IV, Part 1 (tt5304126) and Part 2 (tt5305152)
Dominic Dromgoole is the stage director for the two plays
The screen directors are Robin Lough (part 1) and Ross MacGibbon (part 2) (from the end credits).
Since IMDb is concerned with the screen, shouldn't the director listed be the screen director, instead of the stage director?
I couldn't find any information in the guidelines nor any attribute in the Director section that would deal with the issue.
The attribut Stage Manager wouldn't be relevant.
Is it okay to enter the two directors and create new attributes: Stage and Screen?
