I have filled out the forms for my film, Gyrus, which will be on Troma, but is not yet on the list of matching films. Is it possible for IMDb to get in touch with Troma/John Ferri to verify so it can be added?

The IMDb do not go looking for / collecting their own verification evidence. Troma / John Ferri could make a submission to the IMDb themselves to get your film onto the database if you are not having any luck. Has your submission been rejected? If it has not, wait until you hear from the IMDb. Either way it may be helpful to post your submission number.
