The episodes 'The Next Doctor', 'Planet of the Dead', 'The Waters of Mars', 'The End of Time: Part 1', and 'The End of Time: Part 2' appear in the unknown season section on the Doctor Who Page. I think it would either be helpful to put them at the end on season four or create a season 4B (which the official BBC website refers to them as). I think this would make it less confusing as it looks like it ignores these episodes completely.

Hi there,
Thank you for your post.
This would be ideal, but unfortunately our system does not support season parts. We feel listing them out without a season and episode number is the best way to reflect the episode listing.
Thank you for understanding!

Right I understand. Would it then be better to list the unknown season section in date order rather than alphabetical? The esipodes that I am referring to are under 2016 even though the dates underneath them show that they were released in 2009/2010.

Hi Bethanie,
Thanks for your response.
I've taken a look into the series now, these episodes look to be displaying correctly -they are displaying based on their release date of 2009:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0436992/episodes?year=2009
Hope this helps!

As you can see there are various episodes under 2016 though they are from other years. Also it appears in alphabetical order rather than date order, which again doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks for the screenshot!
Looks like this displays logic is working okay via the web browser but is listing alphabetically via the mobile app - I've cut a ticket for our guys to look into this and see if it's something that can be changed.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Update: So the last five episodes of season 4 are in the unknown season section because thy make up the second half of the season. However, season 7 is also split into two parts and the second half is still shown under that season as I believe it should. You'll notice the large time gap between the last episode of the first part in 2012, the Christmas episode and the first episode of the second part in March 2013. Would it not be easier to do the same for season 4? Also they still show in the wrong date order in the unknown season section. Just wondering how many other series this is affecting.

There should be no so-called "unknown season section". The season is know and it is season 4 therefore these episodes should be listed at the end of season 4.
