Documentary is really a miniseries

Ok so its 6 parts so technically a series. So how do I change this?

Changing a title to series is done via "Title Correction or Merge" function: you can just rename it appropriately like series (basically add quotation mark), tick that you want to change the type and provide valid explanation. I don't know, however, how to change just series to TV series although I experience similar problems now with one mini-series.I have a feeling that chaning series to mini-series might require IMDb staff intervening.

Certain type modifiers are controlled by genres or keywords. The "Short" and "Documentary" modifiers are taken directly from the relevant genres. In addition, the keywords tv-mini-series and tv-special cause different display of what would otherwise be a TV series or TV movie.
