No, some positions on the crew are not readily known or remembered by the producer when it’s a large crew.

Jaime: The producers ought to be willing to allow anyone to submit true credits of their films to IMDb. If someone submits false credits, that's a problem. But anyone should be allowed to submit true credits, with or without the producers' permission.

Producers should add all the Title and Name data here
They have all that accurate info on paper or computer files
How many Producers look up Titles and Names ? ?
How many are registered Users / Pros ? ?

Likely what is meant is "producers" as in "production companies". The big production companies, which will be responsible for many titles, may have established protocols for getting information about their movies added to IMDb. Likewise, big talent agencies, which will be responsible for many clients, may also have that. For whatever reason, however, sometimes participants (often entire departments) get left out, in the contribution process.

ACT_1,
NO ONE is talking here about a title that is over 2 years old. And more than likely are new titles. So your reply of "Big problem may be" is very silly. How old are you?

Jaime, perhaps it’s a shock (or even a problem) for you, but Hollywood machinary doesn’t control IMDb. My question would be: why should it?

Does anyone else find it incredibly frustrating that someone can report the news on the television without that persons approval?
Does the above question sound familiar or similar to yours?
Would you actually even pose such a question?
IMDb reports the news about Movies and TV. It needs no approval from anyone.
That news includes data about who's in what.

No, because with student films, short films, webisodes, and indie films, producers are often either too lazy, too busy, or too green to know to submit credits to IMDb and it's up to cast and crew who are more familiar with the process to do it.

Additionally, I'd like to emphasis that the great majority of titles in the base would not be possible because they had been filmed before the base was invented.
