Duplicate Boston Legal images, but they both have to stay, right

If I understand correctly, even though these two pics are identical in all respects, neither can be deleted?  If one can, which one?
If from doing a lot of reading, it would be because two(or more) different actors submit it as a pic.
I think I might finally understand this a little and will just leave it at that.

Why do I get the feeling that for every two contributors that IMDb gains, it loses three contributors?

The more I learn, the more some oddities make sense. In this case if I understand it right there are two actors that now are imdbpro and put this pic on their respective pages. So this creates a duplicate. I think imdb could devise a way to keep dups even in these cases (off the top of my head, something along the lines of imdb taking over the image and having it with the actors names, but there'd have to be more to implement it).

There are some other oddities and annoyances that don't make sense and shouldn't be, but if a bullfrog had wings it wouldn't bump its behind.

I'll still work to try and make things fall with the guide and more accurate, and hopefully imdb will do the same although I've read some negative stuff about what industry people think about imdb but this isn't my gig so I don't know. it's my source, so i'd like it to work.

Neither of the image slides have a tag that shows up as "locked". That is normally how we can tell with whose IMDb name page an image slide is associated.

I've never seen one that shows locked, but I'm probably not looking at the right eps. Can you give me a link of one that's locked so I can see what it looks like? I'd really appreciate it.

thank you. I can't recall having ever seen that on anything I've looked at. Interesting but very helpful.

Question: Is the name tag the only thing that can be locked or can titles for movies, series, and episodes also have that "locked" thing as well?

I really appreciate the help and info.

The tag of person is the only kind that shows up as locked. I'm not sure what else ought to show up as locked but does not.

Thx. Been thinking why I've never seen that and all I can come up with is that I like to add tags when I know the actor, so I wouldn't look at an image tagged. For dups almost all I've tried to fix were a still frame from a series.  But I'll keep my eyes open cuz never know what I'll find, although maybe I'll be struck blind.

When two or more pro-members anchor one and the same image to their pages respectively, there may be technical reasons why it is much easier to duplicate that image. For example, to prevent a possible problem in future when one of the members cancel the subscription.

Out of curiosity, shouldn't their name tag shows "locked"? At the time I posted this I wasn't aware of names showing locked.  I've looked and no names in either image show locked.
So other than a good guess, what's a reliable way to tell that one or both of these images are locked?

Is this because the owners of the IMDbPro name pages have uploaded the images they can't be deleted. As far as I know IMDbPro name pages can't be populated with tagged images unless the owner of the page uploads the image.

That is the reverse question. Movies tagged in images uploaded through IMDbPro show up in the movies' image galleries. People tagged in images uploaded directly to IMDb title pages do not show up in the people's image galleries, unless the upload was through IMDb Title Scorecard.
