This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: IMDB should allow for half stars when rating. Sometimes I really want to rate a movie a 7.5 or 8.5!

I have an idea I think its important to this site, I suggest to you to make the rating of the user for each half star not increase for each star, for example if i want to rate any movie or series 7.5/10  i can give it 7.5/10 instead of 8/10 or 7/10 to make the rating has more accuracy

This has been suggested Over & Over.
It will never be implemented.
IMDb is already a 1-10 rating system, which is double the standard industry 5Star ratings everybody else uses. A 9 rating IS a half rating! That's a 4 1/2 Stars everywhere else.

That is right the system of IMDb is good and I always use this site for rating but i love the accuracy so I dont use the other sites like (Rotten Tomatoes) because I need to use the site that give me more accuracy in the rating , so I think the system will be better if we use the system of (1/2 - 10)

Won't happen
Sorry.
This topic is over 6 years old.
If nothing has been implemented in over 6 years!!!!!
It is never going to happen.
It is pure overkill.
Your asking to rate a movie by a factor of 1/4 in comparison to a 5Star system.
That's silly!
