Here, in the composing section, it says 'description'. Which is the area I am typing in, now.

Question: Can I edit an existing 'Idea' post's TITLE, and DESCRIPTION? Is that only for the post's creator, or the site's administrators?

In general, a post can be edited by its author, but not after it receives a reply. A site admin (or a user granted admin privileges) can also edit posts.

Is there something specific you need to edit?

It seems that topic was merged into another, so it can't be edited.

In general, I don't think you should expect a post to be edited unless it's necessary (for instance, because personal information was posted).

New vs. old. There are times, where I care about the old stuff.

If there is anything I can do to help make the feature (If approved) happen, just let me know.

P.S.

Forgive my overzealousness. And my monologue.

Thank you so much for your earlier, detailed reply.
