Editor credit not being updated after 2 month wait!!!

I edited a tv show for Animal Planet in May 2013, along with another editor. I edited 50% of the show, she edited the other 50% of the show. The other editor is credited as editor on IMDB but I am unable to get IMDB to credit me which is incredibly frustrating and having a significant detrimental impact on my career as new clients are unable to verify my involvement in the job.
Can anyone please advise me on how to tackle this? Many thanks.

As I assume you were credited on the series, you should be able to get listed for this.

What you need to do is use data verification to send in screenshots of the credits with your name on them, as evidence to support your submission:

No problem. There are data processing backlogs and it takes a few days for the changes to come through after it has been accepted, but I see no reason this shouldn't go through - people usually find that using data verification tends to unstick a stalled submission, so hopefully it won't take long. If it still hasn't come through in a week or two then bump the thread with the submission ID and staff can look into it for you.

Ok, still nothing and this is now seriously affecting my career.
I have submitted a screen capture of the show's credit roll to data verification which shows the TWO editors names (we split the show in half and worked on the respective Parts/Acts independently).

here is the link to the submission;

Any help greatly appreciated.

How long ago did you submit the screengrab to data verification?

Hi again,
I submitted just after our last interaction on this board, so 11 days ago.
Thanks for the speedy response.

11 days isn't too outrageous, but it'd be an idea to paste in the submission ID (the one you used for data verification), as staff will be able to check to see if there is another problem.

No problem. The reference number should have been emailed to you when you submitted the changes and you can find it with all your submissions here:

Ok it is now August 14th. I finished editing this tv show in May this year!

I have been trying to get IMDB to correct the information they have attached to this tv show and apart from your help, Emperor, not one person has contacted me in FOUR months about this error.

I have sent a screen grab of the credits (http://www.flickr.com/photos/leicavir...) to the support team and still nothing.

Can you contact these people directly and prompt some sort of activity? my email is timcillard@gmail.com

I edited 'Mermaids - The New Evidence' with Editor Lara Andre as it shows clearly in the credits which are linked above.

I find it hard to understand why an admin change that would take approximately 60 seconds to do has not yet been addressed in four months.

I hope you will understand the sense of frustration I have.

Many thanks in advance,
Tim

Sorry, I have no more powers than the average user, hopefully staff will see this and chip in. To help them can you give the reference number for your submission?

"The reference number for this submission is 130606-182036-903000 and it has been added to your update history."

thanks again. I figured you were part of IMDB team, my mistake.

Nope sorry. We champs are just ordinary users pitching in to help out others, this can help free up staff to deal with tricky problems (although it doesn't seem to have worked in this case).
