Email receipts of update submissions are missing submission details

I just noticed that starting a few days ago the email receipts of my update submissions are no longer recording vital submission details.

When you have to write an explanation, such as for a Name Merge or Credit Deletion, you have to write explanatory text.  This text is supposed to appear in the email copy of your submission update, but starting on May 18, the email copies I am receiving from IMDb no longer capture this text.

It is vital to have a record of this text if updates are rejected, further corrections need to be made, or future similar updates need to be made, so that you have a record of what you wrote and don't have to keep writing the same type of explanatory text over & over.

Hi Vincent-P,

We have been reviewing how freetext information is entered and posted to IMDb staff. This did include the explanatory text on submissions and as a result email receipts have been modified to remove details that are private i.e. not published to the public on our website and apps. The information is retained though via your contribution history and reference number.

Please see here for more information:

I am not seeing this. Once a submission (w/explanation) has been accepted, the explanation is stripped from my contribution history. Ex: 180731-005200-979000
