The title of this post is a line exclaimed by Dr. McCoy in 1980's Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I don't have much to say other than to lament these latest bone-headed and ill-considered changes to the site by IMDb management. I come to this site to keep track of movies and television shows - the ones I've watched and the ones I want to watch - and that's it. This cleaner, more modern look is a disaster as far as I'm concerned - and that's coming from a guy who felt the need to comment on the goings-on here only once or twice before. One of my favorite things to do here is rate what I've watched and then add those rated items to my lists. The draining of the functionality from the Ratings Page has robbed me of that joy. Why in heaven's name did you feel the need to eliminate the Compact List? If these idiot changes aren't soon reversed there'll be no reason to continue coming here and all my efforts to rate what I've viewed and make some contribution to this site will have been for naught. The verdict is clearly in; no one but no one likes these changes and if the management continues to insist on them like petty Soviet bureaucrats hoarding foodstuffs while the countryside starves, then the site will soon, like the Soviet Union and other websites that didn't heed the concerns of its users, find itself in the dustbin of history.
