Working on this series, but noticed that the entry is classified as a doc short when it is a 8 part doc series. How can I edit this attribute?

Two data items will need to be corrected: removing the term Short and typing the title to change the title format from a TV movie/film short to a TV series.

In the Genre section, delete the term Short.

In the Other Corrections section under Title Correction, retype the title this way:

"Soundtracks: Songs That Defined History" (2017)

You also need to add a short statement in the box explaining why the title is being changes.
(For example: Correcting title format. The project is an 8-part TV series documentary, not a TV short.)
Include the URL of the TV series page from the CNN web site.

Acknowledge the following yellow warning message.

There is a mismatch between the title type of the old and new titles.
Are you certain that you wanted to change the type of the title as well as its spelling? Please see IMDb's guidelines on title formats if you are not sure.

Click the check box to the left of the statement:

Warning understood, go ahead anyway.

After the data items have been submitted, wait at least 2-3 days or more for the items to be processed. It may take longer than 2-3 days because of backlogs. Submitting episode pages will be available after the page has been corrected.

Thanks for posting this message. Please write back if you have any more questions.

Following up on this title, I noticed that the title first premiered on April 26 as a 46 minute documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival. The 8-part series is scheduled to premiere on CNN June 2nd.

Premiering a TV program first at a film festival and then a few months later as a TV documentary mini-series is not unusual. Would this mean a 2nd title page would need to be created?
