This comes up recently on the IMDB App when I tried to edit or post a trivia item: "Something's gone wrong! We're sorry. Our team has been notified about the problem. Please try again later. Go to the homepage »

Hi, CuriousUserX90. What are the make and model of the device, its operating system, the system's update version and the IMDb App version?

Yep, that's still a thing as well, but these screens are nothing as frequent for over a month.

We cannot offer any support until you provide:

- your device and OS version
- your IMDb app update version
- are you seeing this issue on the desktop version of IMDb or only via the app

The sort of mobile device you have is not responsible for things not going accordingly with Apps. Anywho, the sort of phone I have is an iPhone 6, and the IMDB App is at the latest version on my phone as well might I add (already stated above for the App Version).

CuriousUserX90, thanks. Now, do you have a way to know the iOS version?

It does make a huge difference -- an iPhone 6 could be running an old version of iOS so your "latest" IMDb app could be one which is many releases behind.  We ask these questions because in many cases, the problem has already been fixed and the customer just has out-of-date software.

I tried this out on iPhone and got the same errors, although not consistently. I have version 9.5, the newest version.

I thought there was a similar report a while back, but I can't find the thread.

Thanks Peter, this gives us something with which we can start to work.  Please can you let us know which trivia item(s) on which title(s) triggered the error on your iPhone?  Were you adding or editing? What version of iOS is installed and what iPhone hardware do you have?

I'm not seeing the error right now, but earlier I was testing editing trivia items for A Star Is Born (2018) and The Oscars (2019). I got the error screen just from clicking the preview button.

I have an iPhone SE, iOS 11.4.1

Hi Peter,

Can you download the latest version of iOS and see if this resolves the issue?

Thanks in advance!

Thank goodness it did not receive that error I'm talking about today whilst I was posting and editing trivia submissions on the IMDB App today.
