Hi, I am unable to watch the trailers on IMDB and keep receiving an error message saying it is unable to play. I am watching on a tablet, on Microsoft Edge. They work okay on Chrome but I'd like to be able to use Edge. I've tuned off my pop-up blocker to no effect. Ironically, the ads play fine! Any help most gratefully received - thanks!

Hi Claire, I still have the problem, if you can help. My device is a linx tablet, Windows 10, Microsoft Edge 44 and the trailer tonight was https://www.imdb.com/list/ls053181649/videoplayer/vi951238425?ref_=hm_hp_i_3
The error message says 'this video file cannot be played. Error code 224002'. It appears to be happening randomly as I got it to play when there was no ad in front. So I don't know if that has something to do with it. There is no ad blocker on my computer that I am aware of. Any help most gratefully accepted.

Yes, they are. I am using Edge 44, which is the most recent version. I checked IMBD yesterday and I am still getting the same error message.

Thank you for your patience, Chancery.
Unfortunately, our engineering team has been unable to reproduce this issue or determine what may be causing this issue as the same browser and version number do not experience the same issue via other devices.
I recommend utilizing Chrome which you confirmed works properly for video playback on your device.
Please let us know if we can offer any further help.

A piss-poor 'result' that, Claire, but I suppose politeness forces me to say thank you for your efforts.
