Error 500

I get "Error 500" each time I try to open the messege boards on a specific movie/show. There is no explanation as to why and it's been like this for a week. Does anyone else have that issue or is it just me ?

I have from time-to-time got 404 errors when trying to visit message boards but then it goes away again.

Can you give us a few links as examples so I can check them?

There's no need for an example. It happens pretty much everywhere.
When I access the message boards from the main page (Community-->Message Boards) everything is fine. But when I try to open a topic or a discussion board on a specific movie or show, I get that error.
There have been some exceptions... This is a link for the new "Percy Jackson" movie boards - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1854564/b...

They look fine, but I can't open the second one.
I've tried a couple of shows that I watch and a couple of movies that came to mind, but I get that error on pretty much every one them. I have no idea why that is...

Nope it is working fine for me.

The problem is the 500 error is a very general one and not that helpful.

Have you tried all the general troubleshooting? Logging out, shutting the browser down, hard refreshing (CTRL+F5 in Windows) and/or using a different browser?

As this isn't widespread it does seem to be that... something being sent from your browser to the server is causing something to go wrong.

Hm, that's weird. The first time I've encountered the problem I tried all of the things you've mentioned and it didn't work.
Now, I used IE to access my profile and everything was fine. I get the error only while using Chrome, which sucks cause that's the only browser I use.

OK, well it must be something odd happening with Chrome, as more people would have reported this so...

* Upgrade it.

* Try turning off plugins and see if that works.

It should be possible to tweak it and get Chrome to work, it'll just take some fiddling.

This has been happening to me with certain shows as well recently. 500 error when trying to go to a message board. Using Chrome but also tried Firefox and it's the same.

Without specifics we can't attempt to reproduce the problem. What is the page/URL you are trying to access when you get the error? Are you logged into your account? Which browser are you using?
