So, Escape Plan (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1211956/reference) has writer credits that aren't indicative of what is show on screen. Here are the WGA locked credits:

Can we get these corrected to be as the on-screen credits of "screenplay by" and "story by"?

Hi Adrian -
Do you have a screen grab of the writer credits that you can post here so our staff can verify the change?

I don’t fully follow. It already says ”screenplay” and ”story”. Surely there’s no need just to add ”by”?

IMDb doesn't seem to have clear guidelines on that bit.

Adrian, I would be extremely cautious about "modern" things, they are bound to be outdated sooner or later. And we are seeing what the changes of policies over the years have contributed to a certain mess and inconsistencies across IMDb.

Jeorji,
They are pretty clear on capturing credits as close to as seen on screen as possible. Given that "screenplay by" and "story by" are valid attributes for writers and that is how they are actually credited on screen, I would say the current ones are wrong.

Good point. The attributes exist for a reason.

Good spot, thank you for letting us know. Yes we would like to capture the credit exactly as it appears on screen, so in this case adding the "by" is a valid change. I've added this to the start of the writers submission guide for clarification as well.

Will
