The height conversions into metric in a lot of the bio's are incorrect. For example, Meg Ryan's height of 5'8" should translate to 1.67 metres, not 1.73 (5'8" = 68" = 167 cm = 1.67 metres). Just an irritant for non-Americans!

Actually, I don't see an error in our calculations

1 inch equals 2.54 centimeters.

As you say, 5'8" equals 68".

68" x 2.54 = 172.72 cm, which our displays rounds up to the nearest millimeter, i.e. 1.73
