Missing lists or list discrepancies between different IMDb platforms

All of my lists are gone. All my ratings are gone. Things on my watchlist are only from the past week or so? I update/review my lists infrequently. Otherwise I add from a titles' page. WTH?

It sounds like you are logged into a different account than the one that was used to add ratings and titles to your list. The most common reason for this is when you have an IMDb.com account under an email address, but then login via different credentials (e.g. via your Facebook or Google account) that are linked to a different email. This has the effect of logging you into a different account, so all the data/activity tied to the old one is not available.

Please log-out and login again, making sure you are using the same username and password that you used when you voted/added items to your watchlist.

Based on the lack of additional reports, I'm going to assume that this is now solved or no longer a problem. If you tried the steps suggested in my previous message and you are still experiencing problems, please contact us again directly so we can locate your account and see what's going on with your lists.

There's no way to combine accounts, sorry. You can however delete your account so once you have figured out which account you want to use you can simply delete the other.

Why have my lists and watchlist changed completely without my interference? Also why is my history not my own? I think my account might have been hacked or something? I want my lists back :(

Hi, I might have the same problem as Kim Alonzo but with the fact that I can't no longer login with my old account. I used to login with an IMDb account. Then I was automatically logged in with my google account which is the same email address as I used for the IMDb account. Now every time I log in using this email address but as a IMDb account it displays only the info from the google account. Is there a way to restore my original IMDb account?

Hi, I have a similar issue - I only have one account though that I'm aware of. Everything has vanished from my watchlist except stuff added in the last few days. I'm really gutted as have been adding to my list for years! Please could someone at imdb look at my account and see what's going on?

I think the key is " that I'm aware of." This problem is common and it is because people aren't aware that they accidentally signed up another account.

I am also having problems cross platform, I use Google to login to IMDB on both my phone and on a PC and on the PC I have but one recommendation and that's there only as a test as I was expecting to see loads that I have done on my phone. I'm logging into both using the same Google Account, I only have one that I know of. The recommendations were made, on my phone, nearly a week ago. On the PC this appears in the url for my profile: ur35470537 however I can't find such a number on my phone.
