I submitted two contributions that were rejected. One had no explanation and the other had an explanation that did not make sense. How can I get an explanation for the rejections and make a case for why they should be accepted?

Thanks for replying, but that really doesn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. It also doesn't tell me how I can have further dialog with the editors to resolve what they think are issues.

Could you please post the explanation you believe does not make sense so we can look at what it means and try to make some sense of it?

Thank you.

My contribution was to delete a Trivia item stating that certain cast members made their final appearance in a particular episode of My Three Sons. The reason I gave was that they made another appearance two episodes later. The explanation was "Unfortunately we were unable to accept your submission as we were unable to verify the information provided.". The reason I say it doesn't make sense is that these actors are listed in your own documentation of the episode I cited, which I then watched when it aired a couple of days later to be sure. The contribution number in question is #190419-145827-402000.

Thank you for providing further information and the contribution number. I understand this is frustrating for you but unfortunately I personally am unable to help you any further. I was hoping to be able to clarify the explanation, but it seems your problem is not the explanation itself but rather the system automatically rejecting your submission.

I'm sure someone from the support team will reply here soon, if not I'll do my best to bump their attention towards it.

Thanks for contributing to IMDB

Hi Phil -

I reviewed your Trivia deletion request and noted that this should have been approved, I have now removed the Trivia item from the site.

Thank you. I also had another contribution rejected. It was an update to a Plot Outline. The reason given was "Does not meet contribution guidelines.". I reviewed the guidelines for Plot Outlines (there are only 3) and it does not seem to violate any of them. Can you please advise? The number is #190419-141814-276000.

I have another instance of an incorrectly rejected contribution. The number is #190503-194230-820000. I watched the episode involved when it was on last week and the sport involved was track NOT football and it's his girlfriend that suggests ballet NOT the coach. Both of these facts are even mentioned in the STORYLINE as currently stated on IMDB. What method can normally be used to verify this type of contribution/correction? Seems NOTHING can be 'verified'.

Phil this is marked Solved.
A new post is needed.
And an answer to your question.
IMDb would need some Video link to be able to watch the quotes made to approve it.
Also a screenshot of the "Story line" that states that info would help, and may be all that is necessary.
