Exporting ratings (for Letterboxd)

Hi

So I googled this first, since some friends want me to join the Letterboxd thing. I've been on IMDb for years now and won't replace it obviously

The Google search told me that I could export some of my data, like ratings. Reviews probably won't transfer but that's ok. The way I'm supposed to be able to export ratings doesn't work though. There are no 3 dots when I'm looking at my ratings, neither on the upper side/page nor anywhere else.

Anyone know something about this? Much obliged if you do

PS: I asked this before and got one reply, can't find the topic, might have been deleted

The reply said I should wait it can take a while - I waited for over 15 minutes. Nothing appeared. That's on the app and on a web browser, both on Android as I marked in the past thread and here too. And yes I was logged in to both

Cheers

Hi Kospac,

I noticed the disappearance of the previous thread. I do hope that it was not performed on purpose because IMDb would hate to see visitors and contributors moving to... that site you mention!

I'm not moving - IMDb will still be my go to. But having the ratings moved over there will apparently please some of my friends

Hi, Kospac. To export your ratings, go to https://www.imdb.com/profile, click the "Ratings" hyperlink found in the "Quick Links" widget there, click the vertical ellipsis on your ratings listing and then click the "Export" hyperlink/button in the small drop-down menu that appears.

Kospac, in that case, try copying down the string:
https://www.imdb.com/user/CONST/ratings/export
...and replacing the CONST with the part after the last slash of the URL to your IMDb user profile, the "ur" part followed by numbers, and then accessing the resultant URL that would look something like, for example:
https://www.imdb.com/user/ur0000000/ratings/export
...but with the numbers for your IMDb user account instead of seven zeros. If your mobile platform web browser does not have an address bar, then you will have to look through its browsing history to find the right numbers.

Hi there,

In addition to the advice provided above, I would highly recommend logging in to your IMDb account from a desktop rather than attempting to use a mobile browser. You can try to use the full version of the site via mobile browser, but many features of our site (including exporting ratings) are optimized for the desktop version of IMDb.

Let us know if you are having trouble exporting your ratings using the desktop version.

I'm at a film festival right now, so only have access through my phone, but will check both options (home computer in a week even if I dont need it anymore, just to check)
Thanks
