He played everything :

The heir to an old-school Don
A ruthless Mafia Don  with political ties
A corrupt politician with Mafia ties
A comical mobster
A disrespected underboss
A Hispanic druglord incarnating the pervert side of the American Dream

and even a Hispanic ex-gangster whose dream is to find peace and redemption in Carlito's Way

Differences of opinion do not have to get personal. Let's try to keep reactions measured so this board remains a civil place.

Nikolay Yerioman (Champion) knows how to delete duplicates. Ask him. I'm sure he can explain how.

Carlitos Way is not an organized crime movie per se.

But I pulled the Irishman ad put it in with a notation. That way it has a chance now
If it does not go live before the Irishman is released, I'm puttin it back the way it was.
Cool?

If 'Carlito's Way' is on the list, it seems that 'Heat' should definitely be on the list. And it seems that 'Irishman' should either be on the list or mentioned in the intro. since it will be released so soon.

Although 'Godfather' is almost universally considered to be a masterpiece, I have a special place in my heart for 'Donnie Brasco.' And 'Carlito's Way' boasts Sean Penn, as well as being a really good movie, so this is a tough choice.

Not a Mob Movie. A group of professional bank robbers in not a mob.
Carlito's pulled. The Irishman added.

Ohhh, that's right. They were bank robbers. It's probably on the border because they were pretty organized but it could probably go either way and it's your poll.

I've seen Heat about 5 times, so my recollection is pretty good on it's content.
Ruby, my employment history for the last 30 years is self employ. So this affords me the opportunity have Sat TV in my business, I watch approximately 15 hours a day of TV and Movies, between home and work. Mostly DVR'd, so I can skip commercials. So I can watch 17-18 episodes of a series in a day. Plus I have Hulu, Prime, and N-Flix.
I have 25,000 titles under my belt. About 2/3 are TV.
So, when I opine, it is based on first hand knowledge, plus life experiences.

As it is probably with most people. I prefer empirical evidence but there are some things that are indeed subjective and don't lend themselves to empirical evidence. In those areas, we all have to be able to tolerate opinions that are different than our own. I think you see this as a memory issue but I see it as a difference in the use of the word "mob." Both are reasonable. Either way, you do not have to give me your resume: I take you at your word. Also, I didn't even make a suggestion: I said that it could go either way and that it's your poll. I'm not sure how to sound less invested.
There's no tug of war here.
