I always Liked The little Gestapo guy. Howard Caine
I've never looked this actor up! He was Born: January 2, 1928 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA
His accent was so good,he made me believe he WAS German!

What? No Sgt. Stanislaus 'Animal' Kuzawa and Sgt. Harry Shapiro?

Wait a moment! You said, “The Big 3 POW camps in Movie and TV. This face off

poll looks at the prisoners and captors of three of the 1950's and 1960's most popular POW Camps.”. Try more like four or five big P.O.W. Camps in the movies. While these are not German prisoner of war camps, they are major P.O.W. Camp movies during the time period you had stated.

The Bridge On The River Kwai (1957).

Von Ryan’s Express (1965).

I'll put in Animal and Shapiro
What P.O.W. number camp is in Von Ryan's Express? That movie was more about a train hijacking.
Bridge on the River Kwai has no camp number either.
That is why the poll has camp numbers.
