It's always amazing to me how well some people, whose first language is not English, can speak and write in English, as it is a ridiculously confusing language with more exceptions to rules than rules. You are one of those people who I admire so much for how adroitly you write in English. Thank goodness that very few people have ever had to hear me try to speak the few other languages that I've tried to learn - it's embarrassing how badly I handle other languages. :-) You have my admiration, and quite frankly, awe. If only more of my American-born students could write as well as my friends on this site -- ah, my life would be so much easier, lol.
