The current version of the IMDb Poll went live on September 4, 2013. This achievement is due to the creativity and efforts of the 343 authors with published polls, more than 1000 people who suggested polls and the thousands of IMDb users who vote in these polls.
Thank you Col Needham for trusting the IMDb user community to run the poll on a day to day basis.
Special thanks go to two members of IMDb’s technical staff who implemented the poll and provided guidance and technical support for the first two years. Thanks also go to the IMDb Editors, who have provided support and guidance on polls since June 2015 and the other IMDb Poll admins.

I thought you'd been there for even longer. So you joined in April/May, then I came in July, and if I'm not mistaken, DC in September. The pioneering days of of mid-2014 :)

You're a sunshine, ruby. When you joined the board hardly matters because you've always been kind, positive and encouraging and that makes you as indispensable as if you were an industrial poll-maker like a few of us are. Bravo to you.
I don't remember when I started to be active on the board but it was circa October 2008, I was following it for a year before deciding to take the big step... I can't believe it's been 10 years. Time flies!
