The year for the film Kissing a Dream is listed in brackets as 2001 but it should be listed as 1996 as the first release was in the USA back in 1996 which is also the earliest release year listed for the movie but the year listed in brackets is the 2001 Chilean tv premiere which should not be the year listed in brackets.  The year listed in brackets should always be the earliest release year listed for the movie which was 1996 in the USA.  How can this be changed?  Here is a link to the movie page.  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116784/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_6

I would suggest submitting a Title Correction changing the title from Kissing a Dream (2001) to Kissing a Dream (1996). If you can include evidence in the explanation field confirming the 1996 date (separate from just the IMDb release date) that would probably be beneficial.

Edit: NEVERMIND - apparently the system won't let you do that. You get the error message
The year in the new title must match the year in the old title.

If you need to change the year as included in the title, please submit a release date corresponding to the new year. If you do not know the exact date within the year, it is okay to omit the day and month in the release date. We will then update the year in the title accordingly if required.
Which is amusing, since updating the release date is actually not triggering them to 'update the year in the title accordingly'.

Instead follow GMJ's suggestion here.
