Hi,
The order of Filmography would be from what I have more credits, correct?
But I have more in PRODUCER (13 credits) and does not appear in the first ...

Adriana: For purposes of determining the order of your occupations on IMDb, each television episode counts separately. You have to count the number of episodes you have in each job to see what will be listed first. When all your episodes are counted, you actually have more credits as a production manager than as a producer.

By contrast, when the page says "(13 credits)" for you as a producer, that counts each TV series only once.

I have pointed out to the IMDb staff that this way of counting the credits is not useful. See the thread at https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/displaying-the-number-of-credits-by-job-category. If you agree with me, please vote for that idea.

I hope this helps.

Hi Adriana,

In addition to gromit82's reply, please see our Help Site page regarding how filmographies are ordered on IMDb. In this case although you have 10 "Production manager" credits and 14 "Producer" credits, when including individual episodes in the count, the numbers are 58 versus 56.

Thank you!

Hi Elizabeth,
I have 11 producing credits and 10 miscellaneous - counting each series only once.
Why isn't Producing listed above Miscellaneous? I agree that each show should ony count once!

Rita: This is the same situation as with Adriana above. When determining the order of your occupations, IMDb doesn't count each series only once. Each of your 10 credits on the series "Killing Time" counts as a separate credit for that purpose.

If you agree with me that this way of displaying people's credits is confusing, please support my idea at https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/displaying-the-number-of-credits-by-job-category.
