A show I star in posted up on IMDB. I was given a page that first off had the incorrect spelling of my name. I was able to request it to be fixed and it was done. How do I gain access to my page. It is of course "me" so no one else should be able to fool with it. It seems as though the only thing I am able to do right now is create a new one, but I'd rather be given the already existing page attached to my show.

You can't - anyone with a verified account can add information to a page.

It is worth bearing in mind that this isn't your page, it is IMDB's page about you.

You can 'claim' the name page about you through an IMDB Pro subscription, but this doesn't allow you to control it - you can add optional extras like photos and a resume.

You cannot/should not create a second page for the same person. It makes no sense and would cause confusion and extra work for folks trying to correct/add to your page.

While you can subscribe to IMDb Pro and "claim" your page so that you can easily add pictures and resume, only IMDb staff will control your page by adding/editing submissions made by any user.

You, however, have the same "access" to your page via the edit page button, the same as anyone else.

To be clear, there is no second page. To reiterate it's all that is available to do. I am just waiting on errors to be fixed. More so interested in the details on how it works. So thank you for the run down. It is just a chore to go through and fix errors that were cleared to be posted.

I understand there is no second page. I answered to you comment about wanting to create one. It is not appropriate and someone will eventually have to merge them.

While fixing can be a chore, creating new pages leaves inaccuracies and creates more to fix.

But I see what you mean...folks here or on the Contributors Help board http://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000042/t... can give great advice on the easiest way to fix errors. My cousins employers get her name wrong continually. I think I've fixed her name four times now...so, it happens.

Gotcha. I think I misspoke, but this helps. I was saying I have tried to submit corrections but nothing has happened. The only other option that I can see is creating a page with all the correct info to start with, though I have not done so and honestly have no desire to. This forum link seems to have good insight but it still points to a waiting game to see if any of the corrections actually go through. We will see.

If you can, post the submission ID number from your submission, which can be found http://www.imdb.com/updates/history and staff might be able to check status and see what the problem is. Also, if you can, add proof, like a link to a screen grab of the credits, sent to http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_ver... . Or, you can describe the problem and steps you've taken and some of us other users might be able to say what could be done differently to get it accepted.
