Hi:

For the past two years, I have repeatedly been denied credit for acting in three movies.

While I did not get on-screen credits for my work as extra/atmosphere on these movies, I do have the film projects' pay stubs.

Because there is no actual IMDb appeal process, or customer support e-mail or phone, there appears to be no way I can rectify the loss of credit for my work.

My listing on IMDb:
Demian (I)
http://imdb.com/name/nm1959089

Yes, the single name Demian is my Full, Legal name.
It is not a stage or nick name.

The movies in which I participated (shot in Seattle where I live):

= Life or Something Like It (2002) - My face is clearly visible in the bar scene, holding the door open for Angelina Jolie.

= The Book of Stars (1999) - I played a religious fanatic homeless man. Visible in the distance on an empty street.

= Prefontaine (1997) - I played an airline clerk at the airport. Seen in the distance past a mob. Was also in the mob at another airport.

Thanks for any assistance.

The way to contact them is to post here or use the contact form on the main page of this board. So, you've gotten past the "no way to contact" issue.

If you've submitted the request multiple times and been rejected, you seem to have been considered more than once...now we've gotten past the "appeals" issue.

IMDb primarily documents credited work. The opportunity to receive credit for your work got by you when your employer didn't give you credit. As you describe the roles, I'd say you're a long shot for having an exception made to get the work listed on IMDb.

You should review the Help page regarding uncredited work. http://www.imdb.com/help/search?domai...

You might want to upload you verification proof into this thread or send it on the verification form here. http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/data_ver...

A screen capture of your face, easily recognizable, on screen is better evidence that the work you did is qualified for inclusion than proof of payment. I could work on a film, get paid, then have my worked get edited out, for example. I'd have proof of payment but not be eligible for an IMDb credit.

Hi blues:

Thanks for responding.

Here are photos of me from screen caps from the DVDs, and shots of me on the sets:

= Life or Something Like It (2002)

= The Book of Stars (1999)

 = Prefontaine (1997)

Here are my pay vouchers for these movies:

Please note, 2 of these movies were made more than 15 years ago.
So, those, at least, might pass the exception criteria.

Here is a Resume page of roles I have played in movies and on stage, along with thumbnails of my face and links to the projects, as well as larger images of my face for comparisons:

Thanks again for your assistance.

Just a clarification, are you submitting these with the attribute "uncredited" ?
