Are 'Friends with'..., 'once dated...', 'once engaged to...' back on the list of acceptable items to be included in Bio Trivia? I've recently submitted for this type of thing to be deleted from several Bio Trivia listings, but they've still not been removed.

Hi frankfob2 -

To clarify, 'Friends with' would only be acceptable if it was a significant partnership, cohabitation, or union.  For 'once dated', we would not accept this unless the relationship was significant (such as engaged, having a baby, long-term status, etc.), we will accept engagement trivia items.

For further details on what biography trivia is acceptable please review our guide here.

If you have submitted deletion requests for unacceptable items that have not processed, you are welcome to post those submission reference numbers here and our staff can take a look.

Hi frankfob2 -

I just reviewed the submission above and noted that it had not yet processed and was still pending review.  However, as the deletion is valid, I have now approved it and the Bio trivia items should be removed form the site shortly.  Cheers!

Michelle: Just to be clear, you are saying that you no longer want "friends with ...", when used in the non-romantic sense, to be listed in people's biographical trivia at all, right?

Hi gromit82 -

Having a 'Friends with' Biography Trivia item would only be acceptable if it was a significant partnership, cohabitation, or union. So, for example Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, or Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who often perform together and their friendships are prominent in the industry and in the public eye.  I hope this helps!
