Gloria Swanson is listed in IMDb details for Sunset Boulevard (1950) as winning the lead actress award. However it appears from other information that I have read, she was only a nominee for this award. It looks like she is listed in the wrong category.

I've commented on this before about the display of the awards page. There is a very faint line above Best Actor in a Leading Role that separates the Oscar Winners from the Oscar Nominees. It's a bad layout that leads to confusion.
Thanks for the clarification. Yes, I now see that most of the right-side entries are for nominees and not winners. Would it we worth trying a suggestion to accent the dividing line?
