Hacker's Game (original + alternative version)

My film "Hacker's Game" was release in 2015. It is the original version. IN 2018 I released a new directors cut/ Alternate version called "Hacker's Game Redux". With new scenes, a new composer, new color and new mix. Nevertheless this title is rejected and mix with the previous titles. I'm making the changes for the fourth time hoping the Imdb algorythms will now accept the two different versions of the film in my filmography. Thank you. Director, writer Cyril Morin.

I’m afraid IMDb won’t probably add two versions of your film to the database, since usually all alternate versions are listed in the ”Alternate versions” section of the title page.

Thank you, but, if you may, as the producer/director of those 2 films, I disagree. It is more than an alternate version. It is a different name, a different post production crew, and addition of scenes.
As the producer / director of the 2 films, I wan to have two different names on imdb, like the following;
Hacker's Game (2015)
Hacker's Game Redux (2018)
Who else than the director/ producer of the film, can require this, and why Imdb shouldn't accept it. I'm fighting since a year to win this case, I updated four times while imdb was changing over an over, even to have the wrong name at the wrong date (like "Hacker's game Redux (2015) which is wrong.  I won't give up, even I'll have to go on the highest level to gain my cause. So, please, accept my request. Thank you very much.

There are 4 or 5 versions of 'Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind'
None of them have a different name. Just attributes like "theatrical version", DVD version, "extended cut" "directors cut" and AKA's
But they have only one name listing.

Thank you Ed. I'm talking about 2 different versions who came at 2 different dates, with 2 different names. 2 different scores, 2 different editors, color, mixing... = at the end, 2 names = Director's will!

No, non and no. You point exactly what is staying. However, the dialog have changed a lot with the new editing and I brought back a major actor. I'm sorry to say, you don't help me at all Ed and will turn to someone helpful.

Good. Exactly the same thing Spielberg did with Close Encounters. Exactly.
He Reduxed it. He kept the same title.

Hacker's Game
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3140724/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1

And here it is listed as it should be as an AKA.
Hacker's Game (2015)
aka "Hacker's Game Redux"
Same cast

If you had used a different cast, You would have a case for a new title.
Same cast, same dialog, Same title.

Ed and Eboy are correct, this should be listed as one title in line with the policies outlined above. You can add any additional details to the alternate versions section of the title explaining the differences.

Will
