There was a cartoon film on VHS, but I just can't find it by the description.
The movie starts with twins taking a photo with their parents at a park during fall. Then the parent go to an expedition or something and leave a maid with them. The house seem to have British design. Then they get a lettter that parents got in some trouble and decided to find them. At this point a due of robbers that chase them the entire film come, but maid fends them off with an umbrella. Then... there's a scene where the girl has pain in the foot and the maid suggests putting a piece of newspaper in the shoe. Then... they travel in a snow forest and there's a line how you should keep moving to not freeze. Then they arrive at a cirqus and rent a hot air balloon. No clue how the movie ended, but I think they've found the dad in an ice cave.
