Help page correction: Self credits

This help page has some errors:

Why do some acting credits show up in a separate list under a category called "Self" even if those people didn't actually appear as themselves?

1. I'm not sure what this sentence means; perhaps "the" should be removed:

"This means that to create a more accurate and simplified the self-credit space -"

2. More importantly, I think the page misstates how credits are sorted into the Self section. Especially:

"Since the distinction is based on the type of title and not on the individual credit, a restricted number of appearances may show up in the wrong section. For example, all performers in a reality TV series will show up in the "Self" category, regardless of their actual character name or role."

Now see for instance this actress, credited as "Harpist" in the reality series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills:
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2967335/

Many reality cast credits are sorted as Self credits, but this has other reasons: the character name includes "Self" or the show has the non-fiction keyword.

I think Documentary is the only genre which sorts all cast credits into the Self category. In addition, the non-fiction and tv-special keywords have the same effect.

Hey Peter,

Thanks for your patience and letting us know about this!

I've updated the article to reflect the logic a little more clearly - we're currently looking into how our help content is organised and will be making some changes in the future.

Please let us know if you find any further mistakes that need updating.

Cheers,
Joel
