Help! The 'Recently Viewed' feature has "crashed" on my account. When you move the cursor over an item it says I viewed it 45 years ago!!! I have cleared the recently viewed memory but the same items are still stuck on the screen. I logged out and back in again and that cleared the recently view section, but it is just happening again. Titles I have viewed since logging back in are showing as viewed 45 years ago and when I clear the memory they are still showing in the recently viewed feature. Any suggestions how to rectify this?

Hi Mark Wood and Craig,

This appears to be a new bug with the "Recently Viewed" feature. From what I can tell the bug appeared around two days ago.

When I view this link (or most other pages), I see the following at the bottom of the page. When I hover over the images, I see this text "<title> - viewed 45 years ago"
http://www.imdb.com/

When I visit a title page or person page, it is now added to "Recently Viewed" at the bottom of the page, but not added to the Manage your history page. The last item on my Manage your history page is two days ago, even though I visited other pages title and person pages since that time.

The  Manage your history page appears to function properly except for not being updated. When I hover over an image, the time since viewing seems reasonable. I can also remove a title or person by clicking the x in the upper right hand corner.

Note: I am not an IMDb staff member, but a long time user of IMDb.

Hi Dan Dassow and Trevor,

Thank you for your response to my problem. I hope that now I have alerted you to the problem it can be resolved ASAP. I have deactivated the 'Recently Viewed' feature on my account  as it was full (13 titles) and because I had cleared the memory there is nothing appearing on that screen at all - just as Dan said it is not updating. I will leave it deactivated for the moment.

Once again thanks.

Mark
