In the early 80’s HBO frequently played an indie-horror film from Australia (I’m 90% certain it was Australia) about four or five psychopaths who wore super creepy animal masks and took a tiny schoolhouse in the middle of nowhere hostage. It wasn’t horror like traditional American horror at the time so it could have been listed as “suspense” or “thriller”, I don’t know. All I do know is that it *was* super horrific and was absolute nightmare fuel for most of us that watched it. I’ve no actors, directors, or even a specific year to offer... though I’m thinking it had to be between ‘82 and ‘84. Any info obviously welcome, thanks.
